The new, more compact motor allows for more tire volume. The 6'' GT Performance profile tires are equipped with even thicker walls, providing better vibration damping even on very uneven terrain. The 50% increase in voltage compared to previous models ensures breathtaking acceleration at medium to high speeds, amazing stability at high speeds, and impressive climbing abilities. With a maximum speed of 40 km/h and a range of up to 40 km, this board offers endless adventures.

Superior control for any terrain with the Recurve Rails

The large, concave footpads and lowered stance significantly increase comfort and control. Compared to a straight rail, the Recurve Rail is shaped like a cradle, with the footpads angling upwards, increasing friction on the shoes. The front leg provides more stability and traction, while the rear leg can be used for leverage. Additionally, the rear leg offers better control with enough clearance, allowing you to ride even more aggressively without your leg getting tired.

The Onewheel brand

The idea for Onewheel was born when Canadian engineer Kyle Doerksen, inspired by his passion for snowboarding and skateboarding, sought a new way to experience the feeling of boarding on his daily commute. After moving to California, he began to turn this dream into reality. He experimented in his garage at night and on weekends until he invented the first prototype of Onewheel with a chain drive, the "Old Iron Slides," in 2008. Over the years, the construction was refined, improving handling, agility, and the motor until the original Onewheel was completed in 2013. In 2014, a successful Kickstarter campaign provided the necessary capital for the mass production of the first Onewheel model. The response was overwhelming, and the product quickly gained attention in the tech and boarding community. Future Motion is proud to build every Onewheel in San Jose, California. The focus of future innovations is on integrating smart features, improved safety mechanisms, and sustainable materials.
