Immerse yourself in the world of Onewheel riding with the original Onewheels from California. Experience an unparalleled feeling of freedom and mobility when adventure and fun come together in a unique way.
Onewheel - the modern alternative to the e-scooter. Experience the innovative driving experience with your new Onewheel!
A Onewheel is an electric one-wheeled board that maintains balance and is controlled using gyroscopes and accelerometers. It offers a unique form of movement that can be used both on roads and off-road. The Onewheel stands out with its innovative design and advanced technology. It is ideal for commuters, adventurers, and anyone who enjoys new riding techniques.
The Onewheel is controlled solely through the stance on the footboards and your own weight distribution. With two sensitive sensors in the footboard, you turn your board on and off. Steering is done purely through weight shifting, similar to snowboarding or skateboarding. The finest mechanisms in the board's controller detect whether you are leaning forward or backward. This is how you accelerate or brake. All Onewheels are therefore completely controlled without a remote control.
Choosing the right Onewheel for you depends on the following criteria:
The two Onewheels Pint and Pint X are ideal for short city trips. However, the Pint X offers more range and power for longer rides and can also handle light off-road conditions. If you want to fully experience the Pint experience, need more speed, and want to go off-road as well, the Onewheel Pint S will meet your needs. The Onewheel XR Classic is THE ideal all-rounder Onewheel - perfect for trick riding and off-road riding, as well as for beginners and advanced riders. It is the lowest, widest and most stable board from Future Motion.
The Onewheel GT and GT S are perfect for riders who desire maximum power and range, especially on more demanding terrains. If you are a heavier rider or have larger feet (shoe sizes over 46), the Onewheels GT and GT S are the better choice for a comfortable riding experience.
Whether you are a complete beginner looking to learn the basics of riding a Onewheel or an experienced rider searching for the next model, we have the perfect Onewheel for you. Explore our range and find the model that perfectly fits your needs and preferences.
The range of a Onewheel varies depending on the model. For example, the Onewheel Pint and XR Classic have a range of up to 13 km, the Pint X and Pint S up to 29 km, the Onewheel GT S up to 40 km, and the Onewheel GT an impressive 52 km. Actual range can be influenced by factors such as terrain, riding style, and rider weight.
The top speed depends on the specific model. For example, the Onewheel Pint reaches speeds of up to 26 km/h, the Onewheel Pint X up to 29 km/h, the Pint S and XR Classic up to 32 km/h, the Onewheel GT up to 32 km/h, and the new GT S up to 40 km/h. These speeds make Onewheels a fast and exciting means of transportation.
Your Onewheel comes standard with a charger including an EU plug, as well as a bumper and a Maghandle carry handle in black. However, we recommend optimizing your Onewheel with additional accessories such as a fender, charger plug, and rail guards.
Our selection of accessories allows you to customize and personalize your Onewheel so it shines in the look you've always wanted. Also explore our range of obstacles to improve your riding skills and learn new tricks.
We always recommend wearing a helmet while riding a Onewheel to ensure safety. Additional protective gear such as knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, gloves, and glasses can also be useful. This is especially important for beginners and essential for higher speeds and off-road adventures.
Onewheels were never designed as toys but as means of transport on any terrain, to provide a feeling similar to snowboarding, wakeboarding, or surfing even off the piste or out of the water. It has now evolved into a serious sports equipment in off-road terrain, akin to mountain biking, with a large global community. The first official Onewheel race, "Race for the Rail", took place in 2016 in Vail, USA. Eventually, in 2021, the Onewheel Racing League was founded, and now competitions offer prize money of around 10,000 USD.
Canadian engineer Kyle Doerksen, the founder of Future Motion and an avid snowboarder, dreamed of experiencing the glide feeling on the piste also on his daily commute. When he moved to California, he began turning this dream into reality. He experimented late at night and on weekends in his garage until he invented the first prototype of the Onewheel with chain drive, the "Old Iron Slides", in 2008. Over the years, the construction was refined, including improvements to handling, maneuverability, and the motor, until the original Onewheel was completed in 2013 and went into production a year later following a Kickstarter campaign. The brand is proud to build each Onewheel in San Jose, California.
The story of Onewheel is an impressive example of technological innovation and the creation of a new sport. From the idea and the first prototype to the global community and professional competitions, Onewheel has carved out a unique place in the world of e-mobility and board sports.

The learning curve can vary, but many users find that they quickly master the basics of riding a Onewheel. Thanks to the intuitive control and stable construction, Onewheels are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.
Although Onewheels are built for various weather conditions, we do not recommend using them in the rain or in wet conditions. Water can damage the electronics and impair riding safety. It is best to keep your Onewheel dry to maximize its lifespan.
Charging time depends on the model and the type of charger. The Onewheel Pint and XR Classic requires about 120 minutes for a full charge, while the Pint X and Pint S take 225 minutes. The Onewheel GT can be fully charged in about 200 minutes, and the GT S in 150 minutes. There are also fast chargers that can reduce the charging time by about half.
Regular maintenance is important to extend the lifespan of your Onewheel. Keep the board clean and dry, regularly check the tires for wear, and ensure that the electronics do not get wet. Charge the battery according to the manufacturer's instructions. Store the Onewheel in a dry place when not in use.
In Austria, Onewheels are considered toy-like vehicles under the road traffic regulations and are primarily intended for use off-road. You are allowed to ride Onewheels on sidewalks and pedestrian paths at walking speed, as long as you do not endanger or obstruct traffic on the roadway or pedestrians. Check local regulations to ensure you ride legally and safely.
