E-Skateboards schaffen ein neues Fahrgefühl dank den kleinen aber starken Motoren. Das urbane Fortbewegungsmittel mit Style und Fahrspaß.
An E-skateboard is an electrically powered skateboard equipped with an electric motor to assist in movement. E-skateboards are suitable for anyone looking for an alternative and fun way to travel. They are especially well-suited for commuters, students, and anyone needing to cover short distances in the city. But of course, they are also great for longer tours and downhill riding.
As an official dealer of Exway, we are proud to offer high-quality products and first-class customer service. Our experienced team is ready to answer your questions, give recommendations, and help you choose the perfect board.
In addition to our high-quality E-skateboards, we offer a wide range of spare parts and accessories to enhance your experience. From spare parts for drive systems to protective gear to stylish accessories - we have everything you need to customize and personalize your E-skateboard.
The right E-skateboard for you depends on the following criteria:
No matter if you are a beginner or looking for an upgrade, we have the right board for you. Our models offer various ranges, speeds, and features so you can find exactly the right one for your riding style.
Consider that you need less range for shorter trips in the city or for commuting than for longer tours and excursions. So calculate how far you want to travel on a single charge. A short board is ideal for commuting, the city, and tight turns, while a long board is perfect for downhill riding and carving.
Nowadays, you can choose from three drive types for E-skateboards:
The most common are HUB and belt drives, and gear drive is the latest addition. For a particularly quiet ride, we recommend a HUB drive. While a belt drive provides better acceleration and offers more replacement wheel options. Additionally, the motor heats up more slowly with a belt drive. The gear drive delivers the highest performance and is suitable for those with high demands. However, it is also the most expensive drive.
HUB drive is maintenance-free and therefore more suitable for beginners. The downside of HUB is that you have less choice in replacement tires. It is important to note that the layer (rubber) must fit your motor. Additionally, the layers are usually thinner and less cushioning than normal skate wheels.
With belt or gear drive, you should be aware that the belts need to be changed from time to time and their tension controlled. Therefore, they are more suitable for advanced users. The advantage of the belt drive, in turn, is that you can change the wheels more easily and thus have an almost unlimited choice of wheels. Moreover, a belt drive dampens better because the rubber of the wheels is thicker and the core is usually shock-absorbing.
The gear drive is similar to the belt drive, but instead of a belt, it has a gear drive. This ensures extremely high performance and is more maintenance-free than a belt drive. Since the drive is covered, you can ride off-road through any dirt without endangering the drive. A disadvantage is not only the higher price but also the higher weight.
If you want to ride very fast and/or uphill, you should choose a board with strong performance, such as the Flex Pro. Use our filter function in our webshop regarding motor power. For off-road, you need air tires with larger dimensions (160-175mm tires). For uphill rides, heavy riders, and extreme speeds, a four-wheel drive is suitable. While the advantage of a two-wheel drive is that it is cheaper and lighter.
We offer all E-skateboard models from Exway. Choose the right one for your needs:
An E-skateboard offers numerous advantages, including effortless travel over longer distances, higher speed, and a very high range. You can also easily ride uphill with it. With an E-skateboard, you can adjust speed and riding modes as needed. The unique feature of an E-skateboard is that it has brakes, allowing you to quickly stop your board with a remote control.
When riding an E-skateboard, it is important to wear appropriate protective gear such as a helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads to minimize injuries in case of a fall. It is also necessary to follow local traffic regulations and ride defensively to avoid accidents.
Maintaining and caring for your E-skateboard includes regularly checking the wheels, bearings, and drive components, as well as cleaning and drying the board after riding in the rain or on wet surfaces. Do not forget to charge and store the battery according to the manufacturer's instructions.
In Austria, E-skateboards are considered vehicle-like toys under the Road Traffic Regulations (STVO) and are primarily intended for use off-road. You can ride on sidewalks and paths at walking speed as long as you do not endanger or obstruct traffic on the road or pedestrians.
