Diese E-Scooter haben mehr als 600 Watt Leistung und / oder gehen mehr als 25km/h!
If you are looking for fast e-scooters that can go over 25 km/h, our models will impress you. Fast e-scooters require additional power. Dual-motor models are particularly popular and offer high speeds even on uphill rides.
In general, higher speeds will reduce the range of your scooter because more energy is consumed. Therefore, the range specifications are always based on an average speed of 20 km/h. If you drive significantly faster, the range is often only half as far.
The permissible riding areas for e-scooters over 25 km/h vary by country. In Austria, you cannot legally ride them on public roads, and doing so can lead to significant fines. However, they are allowed on private and company premises.
The most popular models over 25 km/h are manufactured by the brand Apollo from Canada. These can be unlocked to go over 25 km/h using the Apollo app. The fastest Apollo scooter we offer is the Phantom V4 – it reaches top speeds of 60 km/h. Apollo also has the most popular dual-motor models like the Apollo Go and the Apollo City.
But Ninebot Segway also has particularly fast e-scooters such as the popular Ninebot by Segway GT2P.
The downside of particularly fast models is always their relatively high weight. These models quickly weigh 30 kg. The large GT2P even weighs 52 kg. So, be sure to consider the weight when purchasing your scooter, as heavy models cannot be easily carried anymore.
No, at least in Austria, all e-scooters over 25 km/h are not legal. These may only be driven on private and company premises. If you are traveling with the e-scooter outside of Austria, you must first know the local regulations.
The idea of registering an e-scooter as a moped is obvious but quite complex and difficult. This would mean that the equipment of the e-scooter would have to be adjusted accordingly (lighting system, rear-view mirrors, license plate holder, and so on). You would then have to apply for an operating permit in the form of an individual approval through a vehicle inspection authority in the respective state. Additionally, a motorcycle helmet would be mandatory, and a driver's license would be required.
