Our e-scooters come from renowned brands and are carefully selected and tested by us. Our selection ranges from affordable city scooters for short distances to powerful models for longer journeys. Depending on your requirements and preferences, you will find the right e-scooter with us to get you to your destination quickly and reliably.
When choosing your e-scooter, you should consider various factors, including:
The first question you should ask yourself when choosing your e-scooter is how far you want to travel with your e-scooter. To determine your desired range, simply calculate your daily routes. Tip: usually, 25 km per day in the city is sufficient. If you want to travel short distances, a model with smaller batteries is enough, whereas for extended rides, you need powerful branded devices. But whether you want to cover short distances or longer tours – one thing is for sure: we have the right model for you.
Many buyers do not pay enough attention to the weight, but it is an important factor for daily handling. If you want to carry your e-scooter regularly, use it for commuting, or frequently store it in the trunk, it should be easy for you to do so. Therefore, always pay attention to the weight of the scooter. Tip: An adult can comfortably carry about 12-18 kg. We therefore recommend, if possible, to choose a scooter in this range.
If you need an e-scooter that even fits into the smallest trunk, make sure the handlebar is height-adjustable and the grips can be folded.
The surface on which you ride your e-scooter determines which tires you should choose. The larger the tires, the more comfortable the ride. However, larger tires are bulkier and heavier. An ideal size that has proven itself is between 8" and 12" tire diameter.
The material of the tires is differentiated between air tires and solid rubber tires. Air tires have excellent cushioning, but you should regularly check the air pressure. Air tires come with and without tubes. We recommend tubeless tires as they are much more durable. Solid rubber tires are not as comfortable, but this drawback can be compensated for with good suspension. Conversely, this means that for e-scooters with little suspension, you should combine them with air tires.
In many countries, there is now a maximum permitted speed for e-scooters in public areas, but not for private and company premises. In Austria, this is 25 km/h, in Germany and Switzerland 20 km/h. There are e-scooter models that can go 40 km/h and more. Consider what speed you need. In the city, a speed of 25 km/h is usually sufficient. You will be at least as fast as a bicycle. Keep in mind that at higher speeds, the range is significantly reduced.
If you regularly have to tackle inclines with your e-scooter, you need a corresponding motor power. The more watts your motor has, the better it will take you everywhere.

There is no such thing as THE best e-scooter, but there is definitely the right scooter for you. The best e-scooter for you depends on your specific needs and preferences. Important factors are range, speed, load capacity, weight, safety features, and price. Excellent brands for e-scooters are Ninebot, E-Twow, Apollo, Egret, Comscoot, as well as some models from Xiaomi. In our webshop, you will find a first-class selection of high-quality e-scooters.
E-scooters are now available in abundance. Many brands and knockoffs are flooding the market. E-scooters can be bought from specialist retailers, but now also in supermarkets. What should you look out for when buying? One thing in advance: we often see "test reports" of e-scooters on the internet. It quickly becomes clear that the authors have never had a decent e-scooter in their hands. The models recommended there are usually not worth the money.
That's why good advice is the key to a successful purchase. It is characterized by the fact that the basic questions are clarified and your needs are taken into account. In our webshop, you can use the filter function to filter by range, weight, etc.
Since June 2019, there are clear rules for e-scooters in Austria. To be able to legally ride in public spaces, the e-scooter must be restricted to 25 km/h by the manufacturer, and the motor power must not exceed 600 W. For most models, we offer the option of roadworthiness.
Note: In the summer of 2023, the Austrian Ministry of Transport claimed that an e-scooter, like an e-bike, may only have a nominal continuous power of 250 W. To date, we are waiting for clarity on whether the road traffic regulations are still valid or not.
We recommend servicing once a year. For frequent riders, it also makes sense to service earlier, i.e., after about 1,500 km. The service is essential to guarantee a safe ride. Additionally, a regularly maintained e-scooter lasts longer.
We can repair almost any brand, but we do not have spare parts in stock for all brands. Leading brands such as E-Twow, Apollo, Ninebot, Egret, and Maxfind are represented in our range, and we usually have their spare parts in stock. If you are not sure whether we can repair your brand, feel free to write to us!
The prices for good e-scooters vary greatly. Entry-level models are available from 300 euros, while high-end models can cost up to 1500 euros or more. The price depends on the features offered and the quality. You should be aware that if you get a cheaper device, you will have to make compromises in terms of equipment, performance, and quality.
The maximum speed of e-scooters varies depending on the model and manufacturer. In Austria, 25 km/h is allowed, while in other countries like Germany and Switzerland, only 20 km/h is allowed. Generally, all our models go 25 km/h, but we also carry models that go faster. The fastest e-scooter in our range goes up to 60 km/h. However, riding faster than 25 km/h is only allowed on private and company premises.
The charging time of an e-scooter battery varies depending on the model and size of the battery. It usually takes about 3 to 8 hours to fully charge an e-scooter battery. Some models also offer fast-charging options that can shorten the charging time.
Most e-scooters are not designed for use in heavy rain or wet conditions. Water can damage the electronics and compromise the safety of the rider. Avoid riding your e-scooter in the rain, and if it is not in use, store it in a warm and dry place. Better brands like Apollo Scooters or Ninebot by Segway offer a very high IP protection class against moisture.
In Austria, you do not need insurance for your e-scooter. However, we do offer an additional insurance that covers theft, accident damage, battery damage, breakdown assistance, and wear parts. If you are interested, contact us. In Germany, you need to take out insurance similar to that for a moped and will receive a license plate. Therefore, inform yourself about local regulations if you ride your e-scooter outside of Austria.
